Hello! My name is Carlos Ramírez, and I am a certified naturalist tour guide with more than 10 years of experience exploring the jungles of Manuel Antonio and the Central Pacific of Costa Rica. I speak English and Spanish fluently, and I also know basic German, which helps me connect with travelers from all over the world. I am certified by the Costa Rica Tourism Board (ICT) and trained in First Aid & CPR, so you can feel safe and comfortable during every adventure with me.
My passion is to share the magic of Costa Rica’s incredible biodiversity. I specialize in night wildlife observation, insects, amphibians, tropical plants, and especially butterflies and pollinators. I love to tell stories, answer questions, and make every tour interactive and educational for both kids and adults. My goal is always to create a fun, safe, and unforgettable experience in nature.
Over the years, I have guided hundreds of groups, from international travelers to private families, always adapting the experience to your interests and pace. Some of my favorite places to show you include the butterfly garden, hidden rainforest trails, and jungle streams where wildlife activity comes alive at night.
Before joining me on a tour, I recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes, bringing a reusable water bottle, and keeping your camera ready—you never know what amazing surprises the jungle has for us! My guiding style is friendly, patient, and eco-focused. I look forward to meeting you and sharing the wonders of Costa Rica together.
